Busy Networking is the natural evolution of Busy Women Networking which was founded by Aruna Rao in 2012.
BWN filled a gap in the local market for professional business networking focussed on the needs of female entrepreneurs and business owners in a format that suited them.
The focus is on support, collaboration and business building, meeting monthly in top quality venues over lunch.
Initially the plan was to run one local group as a "lock out" but through reputation the demands to join Busy Women Networking meant the need open more and today there are 14 face to face meetings and one online national meeting with more locations to follow.
Quite simply the demand was there, so keeping to the same successful format but moving the meetings to Brunch, 9.30am to 11.30am we have managed to have the same success, possibly even faster this time around with three meetings launched since September 2022.
The meetings are open to everyone but are still a lock out to keep the focus on quality referrals without worrying about any conflicts of interest.
Again, the venues chosen are first rate which adds to the appeal plus very few networking meetings are run at this time of day so it means it fits with business owners who are looking to add to their networking.
